  To You Know - Trinity Doctrine

  while i know the wts has published pamphlets on the trinity doctrine, i thought i'd draw your attention to a book written by a secular source regarding the history of the arian controversy.

  i recently read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it.

  to summarize the events, it shows how the original catholic church was divided into two camps; those that believed jesus was god incarnate, and those who believed that jesus was god's first creation.

  I distinctly remember reading that Jehovah's human witnesses will have no part of it.

  You don't get it. The human element is not Jehovah's Witnesses. For example, Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon served as Jehovah's executioner some 25 centuries ago. The Romans similarly served God's interests when, in fulfillemtn of prophecy, they destroyed Jerusalem in 70 C.E. Likewise the same prophets call for a worldwide destruction from a human source. Probably at the time it will be viewed from a human standpoint as WWIII. / You Know

  if there is a god, why would god want/need worship from you?.

  the only people who want to be worshipped or adored by the world tend to be mad dictators and film star etc.its a quality i've always hated the desire to have strangers love you even though they don't know you personnally, and i tend not to like people who look up to celebrities etc who they don't know.. so why would a god want your worship?
